Information reaching the Campus Assistant Blog indicate that The KNUST authorities in a recent move have changed the student ID card to a multipurpose card (transactions, identification and access control) and will be in operation from Thursday 19th January 2017. Though this has not been publicly announced to the student populace, Students are entreated to submit the current ID cards to their respective heads of departments in exchange for the new cards from Thursday 19th January 2017.
Students are to note that the old cards ceases to be a legal identification of KNUST Students from 1st February 2017 and this has been communicated to all foreign embassies.
1.Follow these steps to activate card
2.Dial *———————–# (short code coming shortly)3.Enter your official phone number (Vodafone)
You will be asked to input last six digits of their PAN (card number).
4. Confirm PAN (card number)
When PAN is confirmed by the UniBank, your name and/or student ID is displayed as confirmation.
Finally your PIN will be sent to you VIA SMS
Campus Assistant will continue to update you.
